Frequently asked

What is a Ghost Board?

A private, non-exportable lane for calibrating taste without polluting client-facing collections. Explorer includes one; paid tiers unlock shared Ghost Boards for teams.

What is Collision Search?

An add-on that highlights visually similar archive hits and potential rights collisions before you commit imagery to a deck. Available from Pro upward (or Academic, once approved).

What are Taste Guardrails?

Workspace rules that clamp how far saved results can drift from your approved taste profile. Sold as an add-on starting at Solo.

Do plans include file downloads or AI up-rez?

No. Negativa is a reference and taste platform — not a stock download or upscaling product. Export is limited to metadata and board layouts where enabled.

What counts as a seat?

Each human login. Team bills per seat (minimum three). Agency is unlimited seats under one MSA.

Who qualifies for Academic?

Accredited institutions and verified faculty/students. We validate via email domain or documentation, then issue an annual Academic subscription.

How does Team billing work?

Stripe subscription quantity matches your seat count. Changing seats mid-cycle prorates on your next invoice.

What is Archive Commission?

Agency-only engagement: our archivists build a bespoke slice of the library against your creative criteria, delivered as curated boards.

What is Eye Test?

Structured A/B preference trials that tighten your taste model faster than ad-hoc saves, with CSV/PNG reports for leadership reviews.

What is Supply Signal?

Add-on telemetry that flags stale or overused sources in a board so producers know when to refresh references.
