Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: February 12, 2026

1. Purpose of Image Negativa

Image Negativa is a visual research and reference tool for creative professionals. We aggregate publicly available images to help you explore aesthetics, build mood boards, and communicate visual direction. We are not a stock photo marketplace and we do not sell or license images for commercial use.

2. Allowed Uses

You may use Image Negativa to:

  • Browse and search images for creative research and inspiration
  • Create internal mood boards, decks, and treatments for your team
  • Use images as directional reference in pitches and creative briefs
  • Use in non-commercial educational contexts (lectures, classroom critique, workshops)
  • Save and organize images for your personal reference archive inside the Service

3. Prohibited Uses

You expressly agree that you will NOT:

  • Use images from Image Negativa in final client deliverables, advertisements, key art, packaging, or any published work without a separate license directly from the rights holder
  • Use images in commercial campaigns, products, or paid media without licensing from the original creator
  • Redistribute, resell, sublicense, or re-upload images to other services, including stock sites or AI training datasets
  • Claim or imply ownership or authorship of any image you did not create
  • Remove, obscure, or alter attribution or source information displayed with an image
  • Bulk scrape, crawl, or automatically download images or metadata from the Service
  • Use the Service to train or improve competing visual search, taste modeling, or stock services
  • Use the Service in any way that infringes copyright or other rights of photographers, artists, or rights holders

If you want to use an image in commercial work, you must license it directly from the photographer or rights holder. Where available, we provide a link to the creator's portfolio to make this easy.

4. Attribution & Linking

  • Every image should be shown with photographer credit and a link back to the original source or portfolio where available.
  • When you export internal decks or mood boards, you should preserve attribution and links to the extent reasonably possible.
  • Our intent is to drive traffic and opportunities back to photographers, not to replace them as a commercial source of images.

5. Enforcement

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate this Acceptable Use Policy or our Terms of Service. This includes suspected commercial exploitation of images without proper license, bulk scraping, or repeated removal of attribution.

If you see behavior or usage that appears to violate this policy, please contact us at .
